Held at AFA on Wednesday nights at 7pm during the school year, Circles are an opportunity to grow in relationship with God and one another! Each Circle chooses its own material for discussion, so that you can discover more about the Bible and explore various topics of the Christian faith in a safe, small group setting.

Often including a light snack or drinks, these discussion-based gatherings are a great place to ask questions among people in a similar stage of life. Check out the Circles below to see if there’s one you’d like to join!

There are also age-specific activities going on at the same time, so families of all ages can experience Midweek!

the chosen - Sanctuary

Hosted by Pastor Ben and Angie Snyder, members of this Circle watch episodes of the television series “The Chosen” on their own and join together on Wednesday nights to discuss it together.

The gospel of Mark - Upstairs jbq classroom

Hosted by Pastors Sam and Chloe Jacob, along with Bryce and Michelle Wadholm, this Circle for young adults (20’s-30’s) discusses the book of Mark through the S.O.A.P. method of Bible study and always includes a brief game.

PROVERBs - Room 106

This Circle, hosted by Lara Gengerke, invites all ladies to join in discussion of the book of Proverbs. If you want to explore the wisdom of the Bible with other women, this is the Circle for you!

The fruits of the spirit - Reception room

This Circle, hosted by Beth Lopes, Lisa Tye, and Christine Davis, is for anyone interested in discussing the fruits of the Spirit, as mentioned in Galatians chapter 5. Join this Circle for great fellowship and growth together.

the crucified life - Connections room

Discussing content from Rev. Charlie Holt, this Circle is hosted by Kathy Vilhauer, Scott Gutjahr, and Steve Tye. Members of this Circle watch a video series together and have conversation based on the words of Jesus that He spoke from the cross.
